Demon’s Souls Remake for the PlayStation 5 is the latest rendition of the original PS3 title. Moore also confirmed that the game’s memorable Old Monk fight, in which a player is summoned to fight as the boss in another player’s game, will be as players remember it in the remake too. After grabbing the items, head towards the door and you’ll find yourself back to the path leading to the fog door. There are two Boletaria Soldiers near the upcoming door frame, so don’t stay too close to it. You will need to go up through a set of stairs but look at the top of it. Don’t go up just yet, smash the crates in front of you to reveal some remains, examine them to loot x5 Firebomb. Pass the corner you will find two Boletaria Soldier, they are harder than Dreglings so take your time.

One change that will affect players’ encumbrance — aka how much stuff their character can carry — is how much healing grass they can hold. In the original Demon’s Souls, players could carry hundreds of healing grasses with them and suffer no real penalty. In the remake, players will have a more limited supply, and more powerful grasses (like Full Moon Grass) will weigh more than less effective grasses. Those changes should help balance the game’s difficulty and improve player-versus-player battles, where fans could quickly consume vast amounts of healing items, dragging out multiplayer brawls. Initially, this could have been attributed to Sony’s PC efforts being focused on bringing PS4 titles over first. But given how Returnal is now primed for a February 2023 PC launch, things might be slowly changing. While most titles have benefited from the PS5 Pro’s power, some of them have done better than the others. The making of Demon’s Souls Remake was a dream of many of us and we were really happy to hear about the making of this version. Now that we see this reconstruction of a masterpiece itself has become a great masterpiece and has been able to fully preserve the value and originality of the original game. It was really hard work, but we already knew that BluePoint could do that, and fortunately this developer still did not disappoint us.
